Package: libgl1-mesa-dri Version: 7.4-2 Severity: important Since upgrading to 7.4, glxgears, blender and others 3D apps, always redraw on top of everything, ignoring window stacking. 2D apps are still there, just their on screen pixels have been overwritten and a redraw must be forced to appear (select text or scroll, eg). There is no composite manager running.
I would try to show the artifacts, but screen captures do not show OpenGL apps, just black or data from 2D apps (again, before upgrade, capturing was possible with simple tools like ImageMagick's import).
