Package: libxtst6 Version: 2:1.0.3-1 Severity: normal Hello,
I am trying to build a package that has a shared library dependence from libXt.so.6, which is provided by the package libxtst6. So, I added libxtst-dev to the list of build dependencies of my package, but when dpkg-buildpackage calls dh_shlibdeps, it aborts with an error message that libXt.so.6 cannot be found. I guess that this happens because in /var/lib/dpkg/info/libxtst6 only libXtst is listed and libXt is missing.
