s/evdev/input-hotplug (which uses evdev)/ actually. If you want to configure the keyboard layout manually, you should do it in /etc/hal/fdi/policy/something.fdi. There are some details in http://bgoglin.livejournal.com/16734.html There should be an automatic way to get the right keyboard layout in the near future. Ctrl-Alt-Backspace is disabled by default now. There's no consensus about enabling or disabling it by default, but many users complained about killing X by mistake, so it's disabled now (upstream). Ctrl-Alt-Fx should work. Is it better with latest experimental packages? Brice -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-x-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
