I have been using mutouch 1:1.1.0-1 for quite some time and it works just fine, except that in xorg.conf it is necessary to compensate for some errors in the driver by 1) assigning the higher X value to MinX and assigning the lower X value to MaxX 2) assigning the value of True to the SwapXY option
Upgrading to the latest xserver-xorg-core forces an upgrade to mutouch 1:1.2.0-1 which contains a fix to the former error, however SwapXY option is no longer working. The effect of this is that the X axis and Y axis are now set to False no matter what anyone does and the driver is useless. A finger moving left to right across the display moves the cursor from bottom to top while a finger moving from bottom to top across the display moves the cursor from left to right. I'm not a programmer so I have no idea how to fix this. Whoever broke it and didn't test it ought to either revert or fix and test it, yet it was entered into Lenny Unstable, Testing and Stable. This has been broken for 3 months now. How about someone either pulling mutouch 1:1.2.0-1 and compiling mutouch 1:1.1.0-1 against the Stable version of xserver-xorg-core or fixing the SwapXY option so it works again? -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-x-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
