Hello, I think it would be a good idea to ship lenny with the most recent radeonhd driver out from the git master branch. They've done some great work from 1.2.1 until yet and it should also fix many bugs (some which are also reported at Debian) and supporting newer hardware. The last point should be one of the most important reasons to use the master branch - so on "veryone" is able to use Debian on his Desktop (with X ;)). Here's also a list of bugs which could be closed then: #484902: xserver-xorg-video-radeonhd: Draws some parts of application windows incorrectly #476198: xserver-xorg-video-radeonhd: Cannot turn on a secondary screen without restarting X (xrandr-related problem) #476618: radeonhd: Can't change to other consoles after running Xserver Maybe more or less but I can't reproduce these three bugs on my both desktops anymore.
