There is only /tmp/.X11-unix/X0 file in chroot /tmp/.X*.

If X starts in /var/chroot/sid/usr/bin/startx, X cannot start in neither
/var/chroot/experimental/usr/bin/startx nor
/var/chroot/lenny/usr/bin/startx.

There are, of course, /var/chroot/sid/tmp/.X11-unix/X0 and
/var/chroot/sid/tmp/.X0-lock, but neither
/var/chroot/experimental/tmp/.X0-lock
nor /var/chroot/lenny/tmp/.X0-lock exists.

This phenomenon also occurs on 2:1.4.1~git20080517-2 now.
