found 447526 2:1.4.1~git20080131-2 thanks The problem that Xorg uses a lot more memory than listed in xrestop and does not free this memory on closing persists. This behaviour seriously degrades usage as it is now required to regularly restart Xorg. I therefore ask to increase severity to get this bug fixed and not pulled into Lenny. Can I somehow help?
