Hi, at debconf last year, we discussed the possibility to include some X drivers in etch+1/2 to support newer hardware. IMO it'd be nice to update the nv and intel drivers, but there's probably some work needed to backport that to xserver 1.1. Would anybody on debian-x have the interest/time to try this? If someone is interested I can help, but it doesn't look like I'll have time to do it on my own.
