Package: xterm
Version: 231-1
After a dist-upgrade this morning (using Debian-testing/Lenny) I noticed
the semantics of how the cursor is displayed has changed for the worse.
Before: When I was _began_ typing in an xterm, the mouse cursor would
disappear and stay that way until I moved the mouse again.
Now: For instance when I am typing this e-mail I see the cursor or pieces
of it show up and then disappear (while) I am typing, so I see 20% or 30%
of it show up and go away, show up and go away, it is quite irritating!
I'd prefer the old behavior if possible but for now it looks like I will
just have to set it to be on permanently until we figure out what
happened.
I also tried the -ah and +ah switches but they did not help.
Any ideas/what patch munged the cursor/what is causing this?
Thanks,
Justin.
