*** Please type your report below this line *** Hi, I did $ sudo aptitude update && sudo aptitude safe-upgrade on a system which has not been updated for a year. The X System was also updated. I also updated the other packages, i. e., linux, gnome, etc. Now my USB mouse is moving very slowly. Changing the mouse properties in GNOME does not help either. The problem is exactly as in [1]. I tried an adapter to PS/2 and it worked well. Then I used USB and the mouse worked as aspected. I did a $ sudo dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg too and tried the old configuration with no success.
