I have G965, and the driver from experimental doesn't fix the problem for me.
Here is a fix, that I use:
Section "Device"
Identifier "Generic Video Card"
#Driver "vesa"
Driver "intel"
Option "AccelMethod" "XAA"
EndSection
Important is the AccelMethod option. This works both with the sid and
the experimental driver. If
I comment out the AccelMethod option, it works neither in sid nor in
experimental.

Option "FramebufferCompression" "off"
to the Device section help? (without AccelMethod XAA).
