Package: compiz-gnome
Version: 0.5.2-2
Severity: wishlist
It would be useful to have a configuration dialog to configure compiz in
the GNOME menu somewhere. I've seen this in Fedora (from Core 6) and in
Ubuntu. At least a way to start it ("Enable desktop effects"). (Isn't it
possible to incorporate at least the Ubuntu stuff for this?)
Configuring would be even better: set up the plugins (without having to
run gconf manually...) and do the settings for them.

compizconfig-settings-manager will probably help here.
The package is currently waiting in NEW.
It's in unstable now, and it appears in the Gnome menu (in the
preferences submenu). Closing this bug then.
