Can you look in /var/log/aptitude or /var/log/dpkg.log to find out what has been upgraded recently? Also, if X really locks up, ctrl-alt-fX to switch VT should not work, ctrl-alt-backspace to exit X should not either, the Xorg process could be using 100% CPU (login by ssh to check this), and Xorg.0.log might contain some errors about event being rejected. Do you observe any of these symptoms? Brice -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
