I was thinking about the _new_ packages too, just to make our work easier before handing it over to the pkg-xorg team (and perhaps even after it). I agree it doesn't make sense to maintain the old ones. If the URL I sent was for the old packages, where are the latest version of the new ones? (sorry if I missed that somehow) BTW, should this discussion still be cross posted to so many bugs/lists?
