For completeness, these are presumably the previous versions (they were still in my /var/cache/apt/archives/) : xserver-xorg 1:7.2-5 xserver-xorg-core 2:1.3.0.0.dfsg-12 xserver-xorg-input-all 1:7.2-5 xserver-xorg-input-evdev 1:1.1.5-3 xserver-xorg-input-mouse 1:1.2.2-1 And with just the /dev/psaux section, it works correctly but movement over the screen seems slower...
