Sorry, but xserver-xorg-video-intel 2.1.1-4 does not resolve the flicker issue for me (Fujitsu Lifebook 5010d) VGA: 00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation 82852/855GM Integrated Graphics Device (rev 02)
Neither does the patch bug-11917.diff by Eric Anholt. Cannot find the corresponding bug right now, but it tries to use BIOS modes instead of probed modes when the BIOS panel mode data doesn't match probed data. I'm not using any video bios patching such as 915resolution (should I?)
