You might want to try the latest upstream git repository. See
http://bgoglin.livejournal.com/10936.html for some help on building it.

xserver-xorg-core 1.4 actually depends on any driver providing
xserver-xorg-video-2, i.e. any driver that has been built against
xserver-xorg-dev 1.4. So it's not really about which version of the
intel/i810 driver, it just how it has been built.

The real workaround would be to rebuild xserver-xorg-video-i810 against
xserver-xorg-dev 1.4. I'll try to do that and place it on
people.debian.org soon.
