The upload of the new Xserver 1.4 is being prepared. The new
xserver-xorg-core package and a couple drivers (including the intel one)
are available using the following line in your /etc/apt/sources.list.
deb http://pkg-xorg.alioth.debian.org/debian ./
I am marking your bug as fixed in 2:2.1.1-3 which is available there and should
be uploaded in the near future.
