I am not in a position to do this. The card and Etch install in question is in a production machine which is only usually remotely accessed. I can't update X on the machine because this would involve updating libc which for a variety of reasons I can't do. Unfortunately I don't have a spare machine to swap the card into either to try and reproduce it.
