Yes, apparently something doesn't get re-initialized properly across
suspend/resume. It's hard to say at this point whether this is due to
the X driver, X server, DRM kernel module or even 3D driver, but it's
very unlikely due to compiz.

Probably a good idea, I suggest starting to look at xf86-video-intel.
