When i set "radeon" or "ati" as driver for my Radeon 9550SE i just get a black
screen wenn starting X. There is no error to find in the Xorg.0.log and
when i set "vesa" as driver it works.
I don't know if that matters, but when i was using XFree86 i had the same
problem with a 2.4.6 kernel but not with a 2.6.8 (using the same version of
XFree86).
Now i'm using Debian Etch and a 2.6.18 kernel.

Closing since I didn't get any reply to question within more than 3
months. If the bug still occurs with xserver-xorg-video-ati 6.6.3 and
6.6.192 (currently in experimental), feel free to reopen and please send
the corresponding /var/log/Xorg.0.log.
