Hi Vincent! About a year ago, you reported a bug to the Debian BTS regarding Xorg 6.9 giving a black screen on a Samsung P30 laptop with an ATI board while 6.8.2 worked. Did you reproduce this problem recently? With Xorg/Etch? With latest xserver-xorg-core and drivers? If not, I will close this bug in the next weeks.
