Hi Michael, Could you try reproducing this crash with latest xserver-xorg-core 1.3 (currently in testing) in case it helps? I found the same crash backtrace in comment #8 of [1]. But it's not clear to me whether it is the same problem than the first backtrace reported in [1] (and whether it's finally related to [2] too). So I am not marking this bug as forwarded for now.
