Hi, I started to package the nouveau drivers for Ubuntu. The packages are a bit rough at the moment and only compile for amd64 with the Ubuntu kernel, but IWFM.
Git trees (with master = upstream repository, upstream = upstream + autotools, debian = packaging) for the GIT HEAD version of libdrm and xserver-xorg-video-nouveau can be found at http://mh21.piware.de/git/, the packages are at http://mh21.piware.de/debian/.
