but I get only Errors.

I have found this Error since "xfontsel" has never (since at least Woody)
shown the sample text right if I use an encoding like iso10646-1.
The two qttached files are suitable for the app-defaults of XFontSel

Actually, the text appears to be valid utf8. From what I see with iconv
-f utf8 -t utf8 in urvxt. Closing.
