The laptop is currently dead, probably due to badcaps in the power circuitry, and I've also moved from Debian to Ubuntu so I'm no longer able to reproduce this bug. Is there a closed state it can move into that shows it isn't known whether the bug still exists or has been fixed? That may be useful for stats in the mid-term.
