Hi
I've have been bitten by this bug several times on 2 different machines. As Far As i Could Determine it happens when you press a modifier-key (CTRL/ALT/Shift/...) while at the same time the clock of the machines changes time. One of my machines has a EXTREMLY poorly clock which an error of >1 Minute per Hour and i always hit the bug at the point where i had scheduled a cronjob that syncronized the time via ntpdate. So AFAICS the problem is when a modifier-key is pressed while the clock changes times. -- Real Programmers consider "what you see is what you get" to be just as bad a concept in Text Editors as it is in women.
