Not enough that the whole users has to suffer cause some polish people has historical different meaning of <shift><alt gr> and <alt gr><shift>, no, the multikey handling is destroyed every update again! Moreover, files in /etc/X11 gets overwritten even though they are customized. So here are some suggestions: - - Make ALL config files in /etc marked as config files so they don't get overwritten by an update! This might be the most important! - - Make the default X behaviour available and do not disable the <shift><alt gr> multikey! (If all polish people have problems with this it might be disabled for them only. But I do not think that the most of them are having problems with it.) Today it is a nightmare to re enable the ralt_switch_multikey in the config and do it every time after an update! - -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers testing APT policy: (700, 'testing'), (600, 'unstable'), (500, 'stable'), (60, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Kernel: Linux 2.4.32 Locale: LANG=de_DE, LC_CTYPE=de_DE (charmap=ISO-8859-1) (ignored: LC_ALL set to de_DE) Versions of packages xorg depends on: ii eterm [x-terminal-emulator] 0.9.3-1 Enlightened Terminal Emulator ii libgl1-mesa-glx [libgl1-mesa- 6.4.2-1 A free implementation of the OpenG ii libglu1-mesa 6.4.2-1 The OpenGL utility library (GLU) ii rxvt [x-terminal-emulator] 1:2.6.4-10 VT102 terminal emulator for the X ii xbase-clients 1:7.1.ds-3 miscellaneous X clients ii xfonts-100dpi 1:1.0.0-2 100 dpi fonts for X ii xfonts-75dpi 1:1.0.0-2 100 dpi fonts for X ii xfonts-base 1:1.0.0-3 standard fonts for X ii xfonts-scalable 1:1.0.0-4 scalable fonts for X ii xkb-data 0.8-7 X Keyboard Extension (XKB) configu ii xserver-xorg 1:7.0.22 the X.Org X server ii xterm [x-terminal-emulator] 210-3 X terminal emulator ii xutils 1:7.1.ds-1 X Window System utility programs xorg recommends no packages. - -- no debconf information Gruß Klaus - -- Klaus Ethgen http://www.ethgen.de/ pub 2048R/D1A4EDE5 2000-02-26 Klaus Ethgen <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Fingerprint: D7 67 71 C4 99 A6 D4 FE EA 40 30 57 3C 88 26 2B -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.5 (GNU/Linux) iQEVAwUBRPFhl5+OKpjRpO3lAQKa5wgAhbM7NVz4gJSTQrqY/diiI7xQUk4HtUKJ U1qFiqRznYZwt6l7w6WxbigW0OnVasgMztNA7UbCoy93phasUiLXJDMy11AUiDgO N5MjhvOHVo3Gv1PMFMHx4W78Ci4Ek0UrS0+JvyMx9gx19qUt9cdLXTJnjfDLnlG5 TXtU+SJW5oex+xbQVzTFDfEp/pp1YXxxCweMqDIOf3z2MlYsznvaIodWSOEEURo5 hyQu/UJ2f5HIhAd36g7TGsrggS6hp5hnbJQThiw2JtmXG6+TZ7ZpZBlwTnoj0+DT ZttNuYC2pKMBne+akdmJtqKrM4IEP2oL6CmfWSl8tnakMiDdfLDa/A== =1Dzd -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
