I compiled (xfree86-4.3.0)Xfbdev(kdrive) and
trying to load on a Freescale based
arm board.
When i start Xfbdev its
giving Can't get Free VT
error.
My board has framebuffer support with graphics lcd connected.
But i don't have any keyboard connected.
I read documents that X will not come up without keyboard.
therefore I added XkbDisable in XF86Config.
I even read the Xfbdev will open /dev/tty0 for keyboard.
How to disable this ?
My /etc/inittab only open's /dev/ttyS0
no other ttys initialized.
whether this error comes because keyboard support is not there?
or it is because /etc/inittab didn't had any initialization.
Do I have to use con2fb to map tty's to frame buffer?
