Package: xserver-xorg Version: 1:7.0.22 Severity: grave I start the X system typing startx, then go to the console pressing C-M-Fn (for some n) and so some other stuff, the go back to X with M-F7. At that point, either it takes a while and becomes usable again, or it freezes and the only thing left to do is shut the server down with C-M-BackSpace. There doesn't seem a pattern showing in what cases it hangs and in what cases it doesn't. I'm using the following card, as shown by lspci:
