Hi Nicolas, Which kernel you're using? Could you test with a previous kernel, if you have one listed on your boot (grub) ?
Hopefully, your log output will change from: [...] (EE) I810(0): VBE initialization failed. [...] to something like: [...] (II) I810(0): VESA BIOS detected (II) I810(0): VESA VBE Version 3.0 [...] Please attach all the log to your reply, if it's different running X with an older kernel.
