Package: x11-common Version: 1:7.0.18 Severity: normal Tags: patch Hi,
I've just upgraded from xorg 6.9 and I couldn't start KDE anymore. I found out that the problem was whith the ICE socket directory, that didn't exist. This directory is supposed to be created by the x11-common init script, but when "verbose" is set to "no" in /etc/default/rcS the script exits just after create the X11 socket directory. I replaced "exit 0" in the script by "return 0" and now it works all right. See patch attached.
