Package: xfonts-base
Version: 1:1.0.0-3
Severity: minor

I'm not sure if this is the right place to report this, and it's
probably a known issue, but I couldn't find any mention of it. With the
X transition, font directories under /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts are not
being removed because they still have fonts.dir, etc in them. Is there
a plan for removing those files and thus the containing directories when
there are no fonts left? Would it be sufficient to have
update-fonts-dir, etc, delete the generated files in the postrm? Or
will there be a special clean-up script when the transition is complete?
