I wrote a local udev rule to change the name of the event device to laserG5... Now, it seems that the parser identifies the device by the string given with Phys option and then searches for the device itself. But it won't find any if it's renamed... So my problem is resolved, but that's not the way i like it. I like to name my devices the way i want... Thanks for the help! Matthias
