Package: libxft-dev Version: 2.1.8.2-1 Severity: critical Justification: breaks unrelated software
The file /usr/lib/pkgconfig/xft.pc says xft requires xproto, which is available in no package, as stated by apt-file. Even if it existed, there should be a dependency to the dev package holding it.
