well...  I guess I'm just fiddling, so I'll wait.  Don't know how much
I can really do to help -- I suppose I can test a bit once the
packages start getting built-- I mean, I can type "make" and "make
install" at the command prompt, but I'm not really sure what they DO,
and I can't read C.

but I'll lurk on the list for a month or so, try to learn a bit, and
work towards feeling confident about buildingthe driver package at
least!

thanks much, can't say enough times how much I appreciate the x strike
force, x has been a dream lately.
