I tried it, it created /dev/dri/card0 but nothing in Xorg.0.log about direct rendering, also LIBGL_DEBUG=verbose glxinfo is completely silent and it just gives me Direct Rendering: No. X.org 6.8.99.901 packages in experimental doesn't have package called libgl1-mesa-dri, only xlibmesa-dri and it's missing that file.
