After the upgrade I noticed that AltGr-q, which should generage an '@' in my locale didn't work any more. I looked at the xkb rules, and it was still set to "xfree86". Looking around in /etc/X11/xkb/rules I didn't find an xorg rule, so I thought this would be ok. I finally solved the problem days later at a local LUG when I compared my config with that of another xorg user, and finding that I didn't have the xorg xkb rule. One upgrade of xlibs later (to the x.org version) and restarting X the problem was gone. So I think it would be nice to have xlibs upgraded automatically to the xorg version uppon installing of x-window-system. Hi there. The only way to do this is to either make things very complex and hard to maintain, or version everything explicitly so that people have no choice if they want to upgrade only parts of X. I'd rather not do that. Besides, this package is only a metapackage, and isn't meant to upgrade everything by itself. As such, I'm closing this bug report. - David Nusinow -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
