When you maximize xterm, it resizes it. screen repaints things - xterm simply shifts the bitmap. So I'm assuming it's a problem with screen. If I were able to reproduce this, I would run screen within script, capture the resulting typescript file and see what screen is actually sending. > Info about screen: > screen 4.0.2-4.1 > > > -- System Information: > Debian Release: testing/unstable > APT prefers testing > APT policy: (500, 'testing') > Architecture: i386 (i686) > Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash > Kernel: Linux 2.6.8-2-686-smp > Locale: LANG=ru_RU.KOI8-R, LC_CTYPE=ru_RU.KOI8-R (charmap=KOI8-R) (ignored: > LC_ALL set to ru_RU.KOI8-R) I'm curious about the "ignored" for the locale. Does this reflect a problem with reportbug, or is the locale not properly installed? -- Thomas E. Dickey http://invisible-island.net ftp://invisible-island.net
