Er, sorry, my report was a little incoherent I guess. Running vim on no file (just 'vim') crashed the xterm for me. Opening every file I tried (only 2-3) crashed as soon as I entered insert mode. Now, though, it doesn't ever crash, and I haven't done any upgrading or reconfiguring in the interim. Huh. It happened that I had rebooted between installing xserver-xorg and noticing this problem, but maybe there were some lingering upgrade issues... If the problem reappears, I'll try to track it down in more detail. It's very noticeable. :-) > Also - is this for the bitmap fonts, or for some TrueType font?
