Tapio, regarding the XkbVariant misconfiguration, could you re-do the installation steps and please give us the following info right before you run aptitude to install everything: * values of the following debconf entries in the /var/cache/debconf/config.dat: xserver-xfree86/config/inputdevice/keyboard/layout xserver-xfree86/config/inputdevice/keyboard/options xserver-xfree86/config/inputdevice/keyboard/model xserver-xfree86/config/inputdevice/keyboard/variant these are the only ones that l-c tampers with. * version of l-c used * locale used (at the moment only fi_FI, and [EMAIL PROTECTED] are supported by l-c). If it's a bug in l-c itself i'd like to fix it of course, if not, i think we'd all like to know where it came from. Konstantinos
