That does not really solve the problem if I should happen to have the UTF-8 locales installed; the default x-terminal-emulator still uses a locale I never asked for (and do not want), which is distinctly different from all other applications (say, Mozilla, or gvim) and the Linux console. /* Steinar */ -- Homepage: http://www.sesse.net/
