Package: xserver-common Version: 4.3.0.dfsg.1-8 Followup-For: Bug #281050
Hello, The memory leak is prevalent on the radeon chipset as well. As Gintautas Miliauskas described, after about 100 hours runtime, the X server is taking up about 250+ MB of resident memory. I tend to have running openbox, gnome-panel, firefox, xchat and a few WindowMaker applets. If this could be fixed, it would certainly make work easier. /Anders -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.9-1-686 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) Versions of packages xserver-common depends on: ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.4.40 Debian configuration management sy ii libc6 2.3.2.ds1-18 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii xfree86-common 4.3.0.dfsg.1-8 X Window System (XFree86) infrastr -- debconf information: xserver-common/xwrapper/nice_value/error: * xserver-common/xwrapper/nice_value: 0 * xserver-common/xwrapper/allowed_users: Console Users Only xserver-common/xwrapper/actual_allowed_users: console
