This seems to work for some nvidia cards. Could you try it and email
the results and the output of "lspci" and "xvinfo" to:
[EMAIL PROTECTED] and [EMAIL PROTECTED]
To try it, download nv_drv.o and as root:
cp /usr/X11R6/lib/modules/drivers/nv_drv.o
/usr/X11R6/lib/modules/drivers/nv_drv_backup.o
cp nv_drv.o /usr/X11R6/lib/modules/drivers/
Then log out of X and restart it. If you are running gdm, restart
with ctrl-alt-backspace.
Let me know if it works for you.
I tried the driver mentioned above with the instruction and found that
it did not work. :(
Still a blank gray screen.
