This comment is too terse to be useful for me. The top link is a set of compiled RPMs for Caldera machines. In reviewing a Red Hat Bugzilla entry farther down the list, I see that ddcprobe may have as many problems as read-edid. Perhaps just different ones. :-P -- G.
