I don't think so. But I need some more information on this one to be able to reproduce it. (I thought I sent a followup, but don't see it in the webpage). Perhaps a couple of test-strings would help. The report indicates that he's using POSIX locale and displaying Cyrillic - but I'm not sure if that means that (like KOI8-R) he might also have codes in the range 0200-0277 (128-159). -- Thomas E.
