reassign 248619 kernel-image-2.6.6-1-k7
thanks

Reassigning per information below.

I don't think the XFree86 X server should have to tell the kernel to
load modules. Shouldn't hotplug or something take care of this?

Hi!

I had exactly the same problem, but it's definitely not the mouse being
misconfigured.
The problem occurs only with the 2.6 kernel images (afaik), and it seems the
mouse module doesn't get loaded automatically during the boot process.
Instead, I added "psmouse" to /etc/modules, and now everything's working.

Maybe this bug should be reassigned to the kernel-image-2.6.x package
(currently x = 6-1-k7 on my machine).
