Unfortunately, The XFree86 Project, Inc.'s decision to change the XFree86 source distribution's licensing to be GPL-incompatible has rendered the prospect of packaging it unappealing to the Debian Project. We've seen no volunteers on the debian-x list, and most other GNU/Linux and BSD distributors are avoiding 4.4 as well. Updating this bug's attributes accordingly. -- G.
