Someone pointed out that the older escape sequence could be mistaken for repeated cursor-movement. The modifyCursorKeys resource (see xterm manpage) allows you to use the older/deprecated behavior. -- Thomas E. Dickey http://invisible-island.net ftp://invisible-island.net
