Hi, IMO the xlibs split from the monolithic monster package is one of the biggest benefits of the new 4.3.0 packaging. Some maintainers of packages that depend on xlibs seem to have problems to figure out the new libs they should depend on. In order to speed that up I decided to write a script that checks upstream sources for the relevant -dev packages they should depend on. It's available at http://www.informatik.uni-bremen.de/~jmm/xlibs-split-check-20040330.tar.gz
Could some X guru have a look and check if there are flaws in the script? Why does libxmuu-dev not have header files despite it's description? Cheers, Moritz
